Planet Group is seeking a Senior Epic Beaker Consultant (AP/CP) for a remote, 3‑month engagement. Lead end-to-end Beaker AP/CP design, configuration, testing, and deployment for hospital systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 to 7 years of hands-on configuration and implementation experience with Epic Beaker (Beaker AP and Beaker CP).
• Current, active Epic Beaker Certification (AP and CP).
• Proven track record of leading major phases of Epic implementation, optimization, or upgrade lifecycles within large hospital networks or health systems.
• Deep understanding of clinical laboratory operations, instrumentation interfaces (LIS), and specimen workflows.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end design, build, test, and implementation of Epic Beaker AP and CP workflows, ensuring alignment with best practices and regulatory standards.
• Engage directly with pathologists, lab managers, and clinical stakeholders to translate complex laboratory requirements into scalable system configurations.
• Troubleshoot advanced system issues, analyse intricate workflow bottlenecks, and architect innovative solutions tailored to the client’s laboratory environment.
• Oversee comprehensive testing scripts, integrated testing cycles, and validation protocols for major upgrades and new module rollouts.
• Act as a senior subject matter expert, providing strategic guidance to client teams and mentoring junior analysts throughout the project lifecycle.
