Job summary

South Central Regional Medical Center in Laurel, MS seeks an Epic ASAP Analyst to design, build, implement, optimize, and provide ongoing support for the Epic ASAP application and Emergency Department workflows.

This role collaborates with ED physicians, APPs, nurses, IT, and operational leadership to ensure safe, efficient, and standardized emergency care, handling testing, go-live support, and ongoing optimization while aligning with governance and patient-safety objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare, information technology, clinical discipline, or related field
• 1–3+ years of Emergency Department, clinical, healthcare IT, EHR, or related experience
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and workflow-mapping skills

Responsibilities

• Design, build, implement, optimize Epic ASAP and ED workflows
• Collaborate with ED physicians, APPs, nurses, IT and leadership to ensure safe care
• Develop and execute testing plans, training, and go-live support
• Assist with upgrades, optimization projects, and governance initiatives
