Job summary

OCHIN, Inc. is seeking an Epic Apprentice Facilitator Training Facilitator to coach and guide apprentices developing into Epic analysts for clinically oriented applications.

You will connect formal Epic training with real-world support and configuration work while partnering with trainers and mentors across the organization. The role emphasizes coaching, leadership, and hands-on build and configuration experience, enabling apprentices to contribute to various Epic modules and workflows.

Qualifications

• Epic certification and 5 years of hands-on build experience in clinically oriented Epic applications.
• Experience coaching, teaching, training, or mentoring technical teams.
• Strong understanding of Epic build and revenue cycle workflows and testing practices.
• Ability to connect technical configuration decisions to patient access, billing, and business outcomes.
• Experience providing constructive feedback, assessing learner readiness, and supporting development plans for technical staff.
• Strong communication, facilitation, collaboration, and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Coach apprentices through Epic certification, proficiency, and training activities.
• Translate curriculum into applied build and configuration capabilities.
• Support apprentices in full-cycle revenue cycle applications (EpicCare Ambulatory, OpTime, ASAP, etc.).
• Provide technical leadership for service catalog work, ticket review, and readiness assessment.
• Partner with trainers, leaders, Help Desk supervisors, and SMEs to coordinate learning.
• Help apprentices develop sound build habits, including documentation and testing discipline.
• Contribute to phase-gate readiness with evidence of growth and readiness for higher responsibility.
• Identify learning gaps and work with Learning teams to improve job aids and practice opportunities.
