Job summary

CGH Medical Center in Illinois seeks an Epic Applications Manager for Ambulatory to provide coordination, communication, and oversight for Epic applications within an assigned area and to manage the application analyst team. 40-hour work week, full-time.

You will supervise scope, schedule, and quality, set expectations, coordinate with project leaders, engage business users, and guide workflow design, build, testing, and issue resolution in Epic.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required in a relevant field.
  • Clinical or healthcare experience required.
  • Management experience strongly preferred. Epic certification within 3 months of kickoff or Epic training is expected.

Responsibilities

  • Provide coordination, communication, and oversight for Epic applications within an assigned area.
  • Direct management of the application analyst team and ensure project scope, schedule, and quality.
  • Collaborate with project director, other managers, and Epic staff to coordinate activities.
  • Engage business community, guide workflow design, build and testing of the system, and address issues.
  • Maintain regular communications with leadership and participate in weekly meetings.
