Florida Health Care Plan, Inc. is seeking an Epic Application Specialist to provide in-depth knowledge of Epic ambulatory clinical systems.

The role involves reviewing software, understanding business operations, and collaborating with vendor and internal teams to support builds, testing, and maintenance of Epic applications. The ideal candidate will have an AA degree in a related field, strong communication skills, and experience in analysis and documentation of workflows and procedures.

Qualifications

• AA Degree in Business, health care administration, clinical discipline, or related field required.
• Strong oral, written, and presentation communication skills required.
• Prior experience in analysis, optimizing, and process improvement of clinical or healthcare-related systems or workflows preferred.
• Prior experience in creation of system documents, including workflow documentation and standard operating procedures preferred.
• Prior experience in system testing and remediation preferred.
• Successful completion of aptitude test required.

Responsabilités

• Analyze Epic ambulatory workflows, data collection, and reports to improve clinical operations.
• Collaborate with vendor, project teams, business representatives, SMEs, and end users.
• Develop and document internal procedures for design, build, test, install, and maintenance of Epic applications.
• Review software and demonstrate deep understanding of business operations and workflows.

EPIC Application Specialist

POSITION SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for in-depth knowledge of assigned Epic ambulatory clinical systems. The ambulatory application analyst reviews the software, demonstrates a deep understanding of business operations, conducts regular day-to-day communication, and collaborates with multiple teams, including vendor, project team(s), Business Representatives/Subject Matter Experts, and end users. This position will routinely perform in-depth analysis of workflows, data collection, report details, and other technical issues associated with the use of Epic software; is responsible for developing and documenting the internal procedures related to the design, build, test, install and maintenance of Epic applications.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education, skills, and experience:

• AA Degree in Business, health care administration, clinical discipline, or related field required; may substitute work experience for degree.
• Strong oral, written, and presentation communication skills required.
• Prior experience in analysis, optimizing, and process improvement of clinical or healthcare-related systems or workflows preferred.
• Prior experience in creation of system documents, including but not limited to workflow documentation and standard operating procedures preferred.
• Prior experience in system testing and remediation preferred.
