Job summary

Med Center Health is seeking an Epic Application Analyst (Orders) to lead implementation, configuration, testing, and ongoing support of Epic modules. This role acts as a bridge between clinical, operational, and technical teams to ensure software aligns with workflows and best practices.

The analyst will collaborate with subject matter experts, participate in design and testing activities, and assist end-users to ensure effective adoption and utilization of Epic Orders.

Qualifications

• Two years of healthcare IT or clinical systems experience are required.
• EHR systems experience is preferred.
• Experience with computerized provider order entry or related field preferred.
• Epic training and certification in Orders is required; exams within three attempts.

Responsibilities

Job description

The Epic Application Analyst (Orders) is responsible for the implementation, configuration, testing, and ongoing support of Epic applications across Med Center Health. This role serves as a liaison between clinical, operational, and technical teams to ensure system functionality meets organizational needs and complies with established workflows and best practices. The Analyst collaborates with subject matter experts, participates in design and testing activities, and supports end-users to ensure effective adoption and utilization of Epic modules.

Minimum Qualifications

• Two years of experience in healthcare IT, clinical systems, application support, or related field required.
• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems preferred.
• Experience with computerized provider order entry or related field preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Healthcare, Business, or a related field, (or) Associate's degree
  and two years of related experience required.
• Epic training and certification in Orders application required.
  Employees who are not certified at the time of hire or transfer must complete the designated Epic training and certification program(s) within the assigned timeframe for their role and/or assigned application(s). Certification exams must be successfully completed within three attempts.
