Job summary

Mary Free Bed is seeking an IT professional to support Epic implementations and related Microsoft tools within our rehabilitation network in Grand Rapids, MI. You will analyze workflows, design and configure Epic modules, write test scripts, and ensure changes meet quality standards.

The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, documentation, and training for end users. A Associate’s degree or equivalent experience, plus 3 years in healthcare/IT, are expected.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 3 years Healthcare, IT or finance/account receivable experience.
• Must obtain and maintain vendor certification in specified application within 6-months of attending first Vendor course.
• Strong working knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, web browsing, and email applications.
• Ability to lead meetings, manage deadlines, and maintain issue lists.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates functional knowledge of Epic, applicable third-party solutions, and Microsoft suite of products.
• Designs, builds, and configures within Epic modules and any supporting third-party solutions; develops and maintains process documentation.
• Develops and maintains test scripts for workflow testing; performs testing per department requirements.
• Ensures that application changes and upgrades are working properly.
• Follows departmental standards for change control and quality assurance; provides documentation on system changes and training, if applicable.
• Communicates project status and upcoming milestones to leadership.
• Participates in cross-functional projects and collaborates with customers.
