Job summary

Boston Children’s Hospital is seeking an Epic Applications Analyst to support assigned Epic modules, analyze business needs, troubleshoot issues, and implement system enhancements. You will work with operational teams to ensure Epic solutions align with workflows and best practices.

You will independently configure and build within Epic, participate in testing, upgrades, and integrations, and mentor junior staff while collaborating with stakeholders across departments to continually improve

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; substitutions allowed with related experience.
• Minimum of one year supporting or implementing Epic applications.
• Experience with Epic configuration, templates, security, and workflow modifications.
• Ability to lead projects and guide team members in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as subject matter resource for assigned Epic applications and workflows.
• Partner with end users to gather requirements and recommend system solutions.
• Scope requests, estimate work, and support projects from design to implementation.
• Analyze and resolve moderately complex support tickets and troubleshoot issues.
• Perform Epic configuration and build activities with change management and documentation.
• Coordinate and support integrations with third-party applications and vendors.
• Communicate project status, milestones, risks, and solutions with leadership and stakeholders.
• Mentor less experienced team members and provide technical guidance on builds and testing.
