Description
- Act as a liaison to ensure healthcare information systems function as intended.
- Research and resolve software problems as part of daily operational support.
- Collaborate with team members on the design and implementation of new solutions.
- Perform training, create and review documentation, and support assigned applications.
- Provide 2nd/3rd level support for unplanned downtime and issues.
- Participate in planning, implementation, testing, and updating of applications.
- Ensure high levels of customer service and support off-hours for critical issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a business liaison to assigned departments to uncover and recognize issues early.
- Train co-workers and assist in researching reported issues and implementing resolutions.
- Identify and resolve workflow issues to optimize electronic solutions.
- Provide maintenance and advancement of assigned applications and databases.
- Investigate and solve problems with application software, interfaces, and reports.
- Plan, design, and implement assigned applications on schedule.
- Participate in project management and ensure standard methodologies are followed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent technical training required.
- Minimum 3 years' experience with clinical or financial application support required.
- Strong experience implementing and supporting applications within a health system required.
- Software Module Certification or ability to obtain within six months of employment.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills.
