Salary Range: $54.18 - $83.70/hour. Actual compensation may vary based on geographic location, work experience, skill level, and education.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • The Epic Ambulatory Application Analyst III is responsible for configuring, testing, implementing, and supporting the clinical, financial, or administrative Epic modules within their area of support.
  • Oversees practices and processes to ensure integrity, safety, and availability of all data and applications as part of the organization’s systems. Responsible for planning and system development, project management, and application administration.
  • Collaborates with key stakeholders, end users, and other members of the business teams to optimize system configuration, function, and access.
  • Evaluates problem tickets and service requests, customer requests for system changes, data retrieval requests, system performance problems, and optimization opportunities, participating in the timely resolution of these activities.
  • Independently resolves complex, multi-function application errors and other system issues.
  • Builds and maintains various system dictionaries, profiles, tables, and other configuration points.
  • Identifies system enhancement requests and works with the team to implement them as applicable.
  • Manages the full lifecycle of medium to large optimizations, coordinating with vendors as appropriate.
  • Tests system configurations, customizations, and new releases prior to production deployment.
  • Works with end-users to design and test system reports and communicates changes to staff.
  • Leads or facilitates system design, validation, or remediation sessions.
  • Provides guidance to Level I and II analysts and performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

  • Required: High School Diploma or equivalent; minimum five (5) years’ experience as an Epic Ambulatory Certified Build Analyst; proficiency with Microsoft Office tools; expert knowledge of Epic Ambulatory Module in at least one functional area.
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; EpicCare Link experience or certification.

Certifications

  • Required: Epic Ambulatory Certification
  • Preferred: EpicAmbulatory and EpicCare Link Certifications
