An established industry player is seeking an Epic Ambulatory Application Analyst III to enhance their clinical and financial systems. Salary Range:$54.1800-$83.7000/hour. Actual compensation may vary based on geographic location, work experience, skill level, and education.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
The Epic Ambulatory Application Analyst III is responsible for configuring, testing, implementing and supporting the clinical, financial, or administrative Epic modules within their area of support.
Oversees practices and processes to ensure integrity, safety and availability of all data and applications as part of the organization’s systems. Responsible for planning and system development, project management, and application administration. Collaborates with key stakeholders, end users and other members of the business teams to optimize system configuration, function and access. Facilitates team discussions and completion of tasks that require multiple resources. Must be knowledgeable about the organization’s policies, procedures, and business operations.
Evaluates problem tickets and service requests, customer requests for system changes, data retrieval requests, system performance problems and optimization opportunities, and participate in the timely resolution of these activities. Independently resolves the most complex, multi-function application errors and other system issues. Primary responsibility for the build and maintenance of various system dictionaries, profiles, tables and other configuration points. Identifies system enhancement requests and works with the team to implement as applicable. Independently manages the full lifecycle of medium to large optimizations. Coordinates with the vendor as appropriate.
Tests the system, including any configurations, customizations and new releases, prior to production implementation. Works with end-users to assist with the design and testing of system reports and communicate changes to end users and other staff as applicable. Leads or facilitates system design, validation or remediation sessions. Advanced understanding of how assigned application impacts other systems and works with integration teams to resolve complex data integration issues.
Leads large projects and functions as a subject matter expert on complex, cross-functional projects. Provides guidance to level I and II analysts.
Performs above functions with minimal oversight. Performs other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
Required:
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum five (5) years’ experience working as an Epic Ambulatory Certified Build Analyst.
Proficient with Microsoft office tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Project
Expert EPIC Ambulatory Module knowledge in the assigned application in at least one functional area.
Preferred:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent experience in a related field.
EpicCare Link Experience or Certification.
