Job summary

Midwest Health System is seeking an experienced Epic Ambulatory Analyst to lead build, design, and optimization within the Epic environment. This contract-to-hire role focuses on ambulatory workflows, Phoenix configurations, and cross-functional collaboration with clinical and operational stakeholders.

You will own testing plans, support go-live activities, and mentor junior analysts while aligning with enterprise initiatives. Remote work is offered for a fully remote position across the U.S.

Qualifications

• Epic Ambulatory certification is required.
• 5+ years of Epic Ambulatory build experience.
• Epic Phoenix experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and support Epic Ambulatory and Phoenix applications.
• Partner with clinical and operational stakeholders to gather requirements and improve workflows.
• Lead system optimization initiatives, upgrades, enhancements, and new implementations.
• Configure Epic records, workflows, security, rules, and related components.
• Develop and execute testing plans, including unit, integrated, and UAT testing.
• Provide go-live, hypercare, and end-user support.
• Troubleshoot application issues and drive root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with interface, reporting, and technical teams to ensure integrations.
• Create and maintain project documentation, design specifications, and workflow diagrams.
• Mentor junior analysts and contribute to best practices.
