Job summary

VHC Health in Alexandria, VA seeks an Epic Clinical Analyst II, Ambulatory, to design, configure, and support Epic and other clinical systems. You’ll translate clinical workflows into EMR functionality, build data sets, test, document, and train staff, with on-call support.

A strong background in Epic clinical applications and SDLC is expected. Bachelor’s degree required; Epic certification within six months.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; preferred in health informatics or related field.
• Five years in healthcare, hospital/medical center setting.
• Three years in clinical analytics or systems deployment.
• Epic experience with build, master files, and smart sets.
• Epic certification within six months.

Responsibilities

• Develop Epic applications and other clinical systems.
• Translate clinical needs into EMR functionality.
• Configure workflows, test, document, and train staff.
• Provide 24/7 on-call support for clinical systems.
• Review vendor releases and ensure compliance with workflows.
