Job summary

Hatch in Mojave, CA is seeking a Site Contracts Manager to lead a team of contract specialists and administer construction and services contracts on EPCM projects. The role focuses on pre- and post-award activities, term negotiations, and ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery.

You will oversee procurement systems, contract change control, and collaboration with project controls, engineering, and management to maximize value and minimize risk.

Qualifications

• Extensive EPCM project experience managing construction and services contracts.
• Training in contracts/legal topics and general project/management.
• Experience drafting commercial terms and understanding legal implications.
• Strong understanding of procurement processes, contract management and governance.
• Knowledge of local environment and contractors.
• Experience with contractor management and change management.
• Site-based experience in construction contract administration.
• Engineering diploma or tertiary qualification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Draft contracting strategies and participate in development of PEP.
• Manage prequalification process and bidding activities.
• Lead contracting team to implement the contract management plan.
• Oversee term reviews, special terms, and contract awards.
• Administer changes, cost forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Ensure compliance with Hatch governance and procedures.
• Coordinate with Procurement Manager on resource planning.
