Job summary

Ormat Technologies in Reno, NV is seeking a Senior Construction Procurement Project Manager responsible for engineering, procurement, installation and testing through turnover to operations, ensuring safety, on-time, within budget.

You will manage supply and installation contracts, budgets, schedules, and project coordination with stakeholders, lead the project team, and oversee risk, safety, and quality assurances. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in construction industry or related field
• BS degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Ability to assess situations and choose best alternatives
• Strong relationships with suppliers and contractors
• Proficient in English communication and documentation
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel

Responsibilities

• Manage the supply and installation contracts
• Prepare and manage the schedule and budget
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders
• Oversee project execution including risk mitigation, safety, and quality
• Manage all commercial aspects of EPC projects
• Direct the project team as needed
• Approve POs, invoices, change orders and bank transfers
• Negotiate contracts with clients, contractors and suppliers
