Job summary

PowerSecure, Inc. seeks a Project Manager to ensure safe, on-time, and on-budget installation of DI equipment, overseeing initiation, production oversight, budgets, schedules, and closeout. The role requires 4+ years in construction/energy with a BS in engineering or construction management; CAPM/PMP preferred.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent with 4+ years experience.
• Alternative: HS diploma with 8+ years experience in construction/energy.
• Ability to read and communicate in English.
• Experience with General Contractors and subcontractors.
• Supervising Construction Managers, Subcontractors, and internal resources.
• CAPM or PMP certification preferred but not required.
• Proficiency with computers and standard office software.
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of project management, construction processes, schedule development, and budget management.
• Ability to identify and manage priorities with urgency while maintaining quality.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safe and healthy work sites per company standards and legal requirements.
• Coordinate and lead Initial Project Meetings (IPM).
• Manage contract review, pricing assessment, budget development, project schedule creation, and implementation plan.
• Facilitate Production/Procurement Release for manufacturing.
• Coordinate project meetings with customers, utilities, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
• Proficiently understand all aspects of the project and adequately manage the installation.
• Coordinate with respective parties for timely execution of the project schedule.
• Communicate effectively with Senior Staff to ensure each project is installed safely, timely, and on budget.
