Job summary

PowerSecure, a Southern Company subsidiary, is seeking a Project Manager to ensure DI equipment installations are safe, on time, on budget, and to spec. You will lead project initiation, production/procurement oversight, budget and schedule control, and project closeout.

The role requires strong communication, coordination with contractors and internal teams, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while delivering high quality service to customers.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering, Construction Management, or similar with 4+ years in the industry, or a HS diploma with 8+ years in construction/energy fields.
• English reading and communication skills are required.
• Experience with general contractors and subcontractors is preferred.
• CapPM/PMP certification is advantageous but not required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safe and healthy work sites following company standards and legal requirements.
• Coordinate and lead Initial Project Meetings (IPM).
• Manage contract reviews, pricing, budgets, schedules and implementation plans.
• Facilitate production/procurement release for manufacturing.
• Lead project meetings with customers, utilities, subcontractors and stakeholders.
• Oversee installation across all project facets to ensure timely execution.
• Coordinate with involved parties to meet the project schedule and outcomes.
• Communicate with Senior Staff to ensure safety, timeliness and budget compliance.
