Job summary

PowerSecure, a Southern Company subsidiary, is seeking a Project Manager to ensure safe installation of DI equipment on time and on budget in Alabama. You will oversee project initiation, production/procurement, budget control, and scheduling, coordinating with contractors and internal resources.

The role requires a BS in engineering or construction management with 4+ years in the industry, strong English communication, and experience supervising contractors. CAPM/PMP preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering/Construction Management with 4+ years in construction or energy.
• Ability to read and communicate in English.
• Experience with General Contractors and subcontractors; manage teams.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe, on-time, on-budget installation of DI equipment.
• Lead IPMs and coordinate meetings with stakeholders.
• Manage budget, schedule, and procurement oversight.
• Oversee production/procurement release for manufacturing.
• Interpret construction documents and supervise teams.
