Job summary

PowerSecure, a Southern Company subsidiary, is seeking a Project Manager in Huntsville, AL to lead the installation of DI equipment safely, on schedule, and within budget. You will oversee initiation, procurement, budget and schedule control, and project closeout, collaborating with contractors, utilities, and internal teams.

Qualifications include a BS in Engineering or Construction Management or a HS diploma with 8+ years in construction/energy, strong English communication, and experience

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering, Construction Management, or similar; or HS diploma with 8+ years in construction/energy.
• Ability to read and communicate in English.
• Experience with General Contractors and subcontractors.
• Experience supervising Construction Managers, Subcontractors, and internal resources.
• CAPM or PMP certification preferred but not required.
• Proficiency in computers and standard office software.
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents.
• Punctual, organized, and professional.
• Knowledge of PM, construction processes, schedule development, and budget management.
• Ability to identify and manage priorities with urgencywhile maintaining high quality and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safe and healthy work sites by following standards and legal requirements.
• Coordinate and lead Initial Project Meetings (IPM).
• Handle contract review, sales pricing, budget development, and schedule creation.
• Facilitate Production/Procurement Release for manufacturing.
• Coordinate and lead project meetings with customers and subcontractors.
• Understand all aspects of the project and manage installation.
• Coordinate with parties for timely execution of the project schedule.
• Communicate with Senior Staff to ensure safe, timely, and on-budget installation.
