Job summary

PowerSecure, a Southern Company subsidiary, seeks a Project Manager in Durham, NC to ensure safe, on-time, and on-budget DI equipment installations. You will drive project initiation, budget/schedule control, and closeout while coordinating with customers, utilities, and subcontractors.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management with 4+ years in energy construction, strong English communication, and experience supervising teams. CAPM/PMP is a plus.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering, Construction Management, or similar with 4+ years in the field.
• High School Diploma with 8+ years in construction/energy industries considered.
• Must read and communicate in English.
• Experience with GC/subcontractors and supervising teams.
• CAPM/PMP preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safe project sites following company standards and legal requirements.
• Lead IPM and project meetings with stakeholders.
• Develop budgets, schedules, and implementation plans for projects.
• Coordinate production/procurement releases for manufacturing.
• Ensure installation is completed safely, on time, and within budget.
