Job summary

PowerSecure, a Southern Company subsidiary, seeks a Project Manager to ensure DI equipment installations are safe, on time, and within budget. You will handle project initiation, production/procurement oversight, budget and schedule control, and project closeout.

Qualifications include a BS in Engineering or Construction Management or 8+ years in construction/energy with strong English communication and leadership abilities. This role requires travel and on-site supervision.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret construction documents.
• Experience with General Contractors and subcontractors.
• CAPM or PMP certification preferred but not required.
• Experience supervising Construction Managers, Subcontractors, and Internal Resources.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safe and healthy work sites by following company standards and legal requirements.
• Coordinate and lead Initial Project Meetings (IPM).
• Prepare contract review, pricing, budget development, and schedule creation.
• Facilitate Production/Procurement Release for manufacturing.
• Lead project meetings with customers, utilities, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
• Understand all aspects of the project and manage installation.
• Coordinate with parties for timely execution of the project schedule.
• Communicate with Senior Staff to ensure safety, timeliness, and budget adherence.
