Job summary

Optimized Process Designs (OPD), a Koch Engineered Solutions company, is seeking a Project Associate Intern for Summer 2027 in Katy, TX. You will support project teams across engineering, procurement, and construction activities, helping with coordination, documentation, and execution within EPC projects.

You will work with cross-functional teams, gain exposure to project phases, and develop skills in reporting, data management, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Business, Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
• Eligible for full-time employment on or before Summer 2028.
• Eligible to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Support project teams with coordination and execution activities across multiple EPC projects.
• Assist with organizing and maintaining project documentation, reports, meeting notes, and action items.
• Participate in project team meetings and document key discussions, deliverables, and follow-up actions.
• Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to support project objectives.
• Develop project status updates, presentations, and reporting materials.
• Track project-related information and support data management efforts.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance project execution and team effectiveness.
• Build knowledge of project management principles and EPC project delivery processes.
