Job summary

Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group in Houston, TX seeks a Cost Specialist to drive project controls for large EPC energy and renewables ventures. You will monitor budgets, track costs, and provide forecasts to support strategic decisions across North America.

Ideal candidates have 2–6 years in cost management, are proficient in JDE, EcoSys, Procore, Excel, and Power BI, and hold a related degree. Domestic travel up to 15% is expected in a collaborative, growth-focused workplace.

Qualifications

• 2–6 years of cost management and project controls experience.
• Forecasting, cost control, change management and risk analysis.
• Translate complex financials into clear, actionable insights.
• Proficient in JDE, EcoSys, Procore, Excel and Power BI.
• Bachelor’s degree in CM, Business, Finance, or equivalent.
• Willing to travel up to 15% domestically.

Responsibilities

• Track and control project costs for EPC energy projects.
• Monitor budgets, actual costs, forecasts, and cost trends.
• Develop and maintain EAC and ETC for forecasting.
• Apply Earned Value Management (EVM) to evaluate performance.
• Identify cost risks and deviations; escalate to leadership.
• Support change management activities and budget transfers.
• Collaborate with Project Managers and technical teams to align financials with plans.
• Prepare cost reports, dashboards, and forecasts for leadership.
• Support Project Controls Execution Plans and ensure policy compliance.
• Use JDE, EcoSys, Procore, Excel and Power BI for tracking.
• Be a trusted cost control resource on assigned projects.
