Job summary

Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group in Tampa, FL, is seeking a Project Cost Specialist to join the Project Controls team. You will monitor financial performance across the project lifecycle, develop and maintain budgets, track costs, perform variance analysis, and provide leadership with accurate reporting to support strategic decisions on large-scale utility, energy EPC projects across North America.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in cost management, strong forecasting and EVM familiarity,

Qualifications

• 4+ years in cost management and project controls.
• Forecasting, cost control, change management and risk analysis.
• Ability to convert complex financials into clear, actionable insights.
• Proficiency in JDE, EcoSys, Procore, Excel and Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Track, analyze, and control project costs for EPC energy and utility infrastructure projects.
• Monitor budgets, actual costs, forecasts and cost trends across multi-year projects.
• Develop Estimates at Completion (EAC) and Estimates to Complete (ETC).
• Apply Earned Value Management principles to evaluate performance and variances.
• Identify cost risks and deviations; escalate to project managers and leadership.
• Support change management activities including change orders and budget transfers.
• Prepare cost reports, dashboards, and forecasts for leadership and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with project controls plans and company standards.
