Job summary

Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group (QISG) seeks a Cost Specialist in our Denver office. You will join the Project Controls team to monitor financial performance, develop budgets, track actuals, perform variance analysis and provide leadership with accurate reporting for large EPC energy, utility and renewables projects across North America.

You’ll use JDE, EcoSys, Procore, Excel and Power BI to track costs, create forecasts and deliver clear insights. Travel up to 15% domestically.

Qualifications

• 1–6 years of cost management and project controls experience in EPC projects.
• Forecasting, cost control, change management and risk analysis are essential.
• Translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights for project teams and leadership.
• Proficient with JDE, EcoSys, Procore, Excel and Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Track, analyze, and control project costs for EPC energy and utility infrastructure projects.
• Monitor budgets, actual costs, forecasts and cost trends across multi-year programs.
• Develop and maintain Estimates at Completion (EAC) and Estimates to Complete (ETC).
• Apply Earned Value Management (EVM) principles to evaluate performance and variances.
• Prepare cost reports, dashboards and forecasts for leadership and stakeholders.
