Job summary

Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group, LLC is seeking a Project Cost Specialist to join our Project Controls team, supporting large EPC energy and utility projects across North America from our Atlanta office.

You will develop and maintain budgets, track actual costs, perform variance analysis, and prepare forecasts. Earned Value Management experience is highly preferred to identify variances and guide leadership decisions.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in cost management and project controls.
• Expertise in forecasting, cost control, change management, and risk analysis.
• Convert complex financials into clear, actionable insights.
• Proficient in JDE, EcoSys, Procore, Excel, Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Track costs for EPC energy and utility projects (transmission, substations, renewables).
• Monitor budgets, actuals, forecasts, and cost trends across multi-year projects.
• Develop and maintain EAC and ETC for accurate forecasting.
• Apply Earned Value Management (EVM) to evaluate performance and variances.
• Identify cost risks and escalate issues to project managers.
• Support change management activities including budget transfers.
