  • Drafting, negotiating and redlining energy/solar/battery contracts
  • Licensed to practice law in any U.S. jurisdiction, active and in good standing

Responsibilities

  • Handle overflow work involving company agreements with contractors for large-scale energy projects (solar/battery)
  • Review, draft, negotiate and redline construction-related contracts
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external partners on contract execution
  • Ensure compliance with applicable U.S. law and client requirements

Lawyers on Demand (LOD), a Consilio company, is partnering with a dynamic energy corporation to recruit an EPC Contracts Attorney. This is a part-time, indefinite contract role.

  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Duration: long term ongoing
  • Hours: 5-10/week with ramp up to 20+
  • Location: Remote
  • Compensation: $100/hr
Responsibilities and Requirements
  • Client is seeking an EPC attorney (Energy, Procurement, and Construction) with 5+ years of legal experience with commercial contracts in the energy/construction sectors
  • Attorney will handle overflow work involving the company’s agreements with contractors in relation to the construction and installation of large-scale clean energy projects, usually solar or battery storage in nature
  • Experience with construction contracts will be specifically relevant, including subcontractor and contractor agreements; experience drafting, negotiating, redlining these agreements in the energy, solar, battery contexts is especially useful
  • License to practice law in any U.S. jurisdiction, active and in good standing, is required
