Job summary

DESRI is seeking a Senior Manager or Director, EPC Commercial & Delivery to lead commercial strategy and execution across utility-scale solar and energy storage projects. You will own pre-FNTP commercial activities, negotiate EPC contracts, and oversee risk management, collaborating with Legal, Finance, and Project Delivery teams.

The role requires 10–15 years of EPC contracting and pricing experience within renewable energy and offers a comprehensive compensation package including base salary,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field is required.
• 10+ years in commercial contracting, scheduling and pricing for EPC.
• Experience in EPC project management, ideally reaching director-level responsibilities.
• Deep familiarity with EPC contract structures, negotiations, risk allocation, and schedule management.
• Proven negotiations for utility-scale solar and/or BESS projects.
• Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills across multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Influence commercial structure, risk management, pricing, execution readiness and execution of DESRI’s projects.
• Lead pre-FNTP contract negotiations and risk mitigation with EPC contractors.
• Maintain alignment across functional groups on design decisions, contracting strategies, and cost/schedule assumptions.
• Develop, negotiate and finalize EPC contracts with clear scope, performance guarantees, change orders, and warranties.
• Validate pre-construction schedules and mitigate commercial, technical and schedule risks.
• Oversee pricing efforts, bid evaluations, and internal investment/risk reviews.
• Prepare materials for leadership and investment committees with clear EPC positions and risks.
• Ensure disciplined FNTP transition with project teams to preserve commercial intent.
• Represent DESRI in senior external negotiations with EPC providers and suppliers.
• Apply EPC strategies across solar and BESS projects for integrated delivery.
• Support execution-phase changes and project closeout with asset management.
