Job summary

MAA Foothills is seeking an Apartment Maintenance Technician to perform general maintenance on apartment homes and property facilities. You will diagnose and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and locks, and prepare units for move-in.

Applicants should have 1–3 years in multifamily maintenance, EPA Type II or Universal certification (within 90 days), and a valid driver’s license. Competitive benefits and advancement opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in multifamily property management, facility maintenance, and/or mechanical repair.
• EPA Type II or EPA Universal certification required at hire or within 90 days of start date.
• Valid driver’s license from the state of residence.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repair on apartment homes and property facilities, following preventative maintenance schedules.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC units, electrical appliances, plumbing, carpentry, and locks; prepare apartments for move-in.
• Follow up with residents after repairs are complete and ensure high quality workmanship.
