Qualifications

  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
  • ARRT-R Radiography
  • ARRT (CT) preferred
  • (RT) Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer
  • Vocational School Graduate, or Associate Degree

Responsibilities

  • Perform CT procedures on patients ranging from newborn to adult.
  • Maintain and document procedures and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, medical staff, and colleagues.
  • Provide quality patient care and customer service consistent with Lawnwood Regional Medical Center.

Job Summary And Qualifications

This position is responsible for solid to expert knowledge of all CT procedures. Technologist is expected to communicate and work independently in performing all CT procedures on customers ranging in age from newborn to late adulthood. Prioritizes, provides, and promotes quality patient care and customer service to support the Mission, Vision, and Values of Lawnwood Regional Medical Center. Maintains and supports facility technical and procedural documentation expectations consistent with external and internal regulations and standards. Positively reflects concern and consideration when interacting with patients, medical staff, and employees. Demonstrates independent critical thinking skills to assume accountability for personal and team contributions.

What qualifications you will need:
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

HCA Florida Lawnwood Hospital is a 380-bed acute-care hospital. Offering a full range of services. We are home to the most experienced Heart Institute on the Treasure Coast. Lawnwood Hospital provides interventional and therapeutic care, including open-heart surgery. Other hospital services include labor/delivery, pediatrics, orthopedics, oncology, nuclear medicine, adult and pediatric emergency services, and diagnostic services.
