Job summary

HealthCare Support is seeking an EP Technologist for a high-acuity Cath Lab in Fort Walton Beach, FL. You will support physicians during cardiac EP procedures and manage specialized EP lab equipment in a hospital setting known for strong clinical standards.

Schedule features 4x10s days with no on-call, and compensation ranges from $29.56 to $44.34 per hour. Benefits include medical plans, preventive care coverage, Telehealth, dental, vision, and retirement options.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree or equivalent in Radiological Technology.
• ACLS must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
• BCLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• RCIS must be obtained within 18 months of employment start date (Associate Degree).
• Possible credentials: ARRT-R, RT, RCES as applicable.
• Prior Cath Lab experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Equipment management: Prepare, operate, and maintain EP lab equipment.
• Assist physicians during cardiac EP procedures and diagnostic exams.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort before, during, and after tests for adults and geriatrics.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation of patient care and procedure details.

Education

Associate Degree or equivalent in Radiological Technology

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 90 days

Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) within 30 days

RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) within 18 months

ARRT-R Radiography or RT Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer or RCES

Prior Cath Lab experience

Daily Responsibilities For a EP Technologist

• Equipment Management: Prepare, operate, and maintain specialized electrophysiology (EP) lab equipment.
• Procedure Assistance: Directly assist physicians during cardiac EP procedures and diagnostic examinations.
• Patient Care: Ensure patient safety and comfort before, during, and after tests for adults and geriatrics.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of patient care and procedure detail

Required Qualifications For a EP Technologist
