Job summary

Piedmont Eastside Medical Center is seeking a team-oriented professional to support invasive cardiac and EP procedures in our cath lab. You will assist physicians, handle equipment maintenance, and deliver direct and indirect cardiovascular care during procedures.

A strong foundation in cath lab operations and patient care is essential. Applicants may come from RCIS, nursing, respiratory, paramedic, imaging, or exercise physiology backgrounds.

Qualifications

• Graduate of RCIS, or nursing program, or respiratory/paramedic/imaging/exercise physiology.
• Licensure or certification as applicable required by hire.
• BCLS and ACLS certifications required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Assists physician in invasive cardiac and electrophysiology procedures.
• Maintains knowledge of Cath Lab/EP equipment and its care.
• Provides direct/indirect cardiovascular clinical care during procedures.

Responsibilities

Assists the physician in the performance of invasive cardiac and electrophysiology procedures. Has thorough knowledge of all Cath Lab/EP Equipment and maintenance of it and administers direct/indirect care to patients undergoing invasive cardiac procedures. Able to provide direct and indirect cardiovascular clinical care during established procedures.

Education

• Graduate of a RCIS program Required or
• Graduate from a nursing program Required or
• Graduate of respiratory, paramedic, imaging or exercise physiology Required

• No experience required Required

Licenses and Certifications

• Based on healthcare experienced (see above) applicable license . Upon Hire Required or
• If a graduate of RCIS program, RCIS must be obtained within 24 months of hire Required and
• BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required and
• ACLS Upon Hire Required
