Qualifications

• 4 years of experience in Cath Lab as a technician.

• BCLS and ACLS certifications mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Assist the physician in performing invasive advanced cardiac procedures.
• Administer direct and indirect care to patients undergoing invasive procedures.
• Guide fellow techs in equipment operation and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist the physician in performing invasive advanced cardiac procedures.
• Have thorough knowledge of all Cath/EP Lab equipment and maintain it.
• Administer direct and indirect care to patients undergoing invasive cardiac procedures.
• Provide direct and indirect cardiovascular clinical care during established procedures and provide sedation for patients.
• Serve as a subject‑matter expert by guiding fellow Cath/EP lab techs in the proper operation of equipment and procedures used in the Catheterization Laboratory.
• Perform a combination of higher‑level work such as Cath, EP, and/or Vascular.

Qualifications

• Minimum Education Required: Registered Nurse (RN), Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS), Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES)
• Minimum Experience Required: 4 years of Cath Lab Tech Experience
• Minimum Licensure/Certification Required by Law: Current Georgia RN license, RCIS or RCES
• Additional Qualifications: BCLS and ACLS; Proficient in scrubbing, sedating, circulating, and monitoring; Proficient in multi‑specialty procedure.
