Job summary

Piedmont Henry Hospital in Georgia is seeking an experienced RN or RCIS/RCES to join our Cath Lab/EP team. You will assist physicians during invasive cardiac procedures, provide sedation, and support equipment operation to ensure patient safety and success of procedures.

Ideal candidates have 4 years of Cath Lab experience, and hold Georgia RN licensure or RCIS/RCES credentials, along with BCLS and ACLS certifications.

Qualifications

• RN required or RCIS/RCES required.
• 4 years Cath Lab Tech experience required.
• Georgia RN license or RCIS/RCES RCES on hire required.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during invasive cardiac procedures; knowledge of Cath/EP lab equipment and maintenance.
• Provide direct/indirect cardiovascular clinical care during procedures and sedation.
• Serve as SME guiding fellow Cath/EP lab techs in equipment operation and procedures.
• Perform a combination of higher-level work such as Cath, EP, and/or vascular procedures.

Responsibilities

Assists the physician in the performance of invasive advanced cardiac procedures, has thorough knowledge of all Cath/EP Lab Equipment and maintenance of it and administers direct/indirect care to patients undergoing invasive cardiac procedures. Able to provide direct and indirect cardiovascular clinical care during established procedures and provide sedation for patients. Additionally, will serve as subject matter expert in challenging and difficult cases by providing guidance to fellow Cath lab/EP lab techs in the proper operation of equipment and procedures used in the Catheterization Laboratory.Must be able to perform a combination of higher-level work such as Cath, EP, and/or Vascular.

Qualifications

Education

• Graduate of Registered Nurse (RN) Required or
• Graduate of Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) Required or
• Graduate of Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) Required

Work Experience

• 4 years of Cath Lab Tech Experience Required

Licenses and Certifications

• RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure Current Georgia RN license Upon Hire Required or
