Job summary

Presbyterian System Services in Albuquerque, NM seeks an experienced Cardiovascular Technologist to provide technical and patient care support during diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures. You will scrub, monitor, record, and circulate as qualified, while preparing rooms and ensuring patient safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualified applicants have RCIS/RCES certification or are actively pursuing it, with timelines to obtain.

Qualifications

• Requires RCIS or RCES certification; or active pursuit with plan to obtain
• RCIS: must register within 18 months and certify within 2 years; RCES: within 30 months and 3 years
• ACLS and PALS certifications required within 6 months for designated roles
• Associate degree in related cardiovascular field is acceptable if supported
• Experience in adult Cardiac Cath Lab or related cardiovascular procedures preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and patient care support during diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures
• Perform scrub, monitoring, recording, and circulating responsibilities as qualified
• Prepare procedure rooms, equipment and supplies for safe, compliant patient care
• Monitor patient status and procedural data with accurate documentation
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care
• Support quality improvement, regulatory compliance, infection prevention, and radiation safety
• Assist with inventory management, equipment maintenance, and staff onboarding
• Participate in continuing education and departmental meetings
