Job summary

Mercy seeks an EP Lab Registered Nurse to provide patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment. The RN will utilize the nursing process, maintain patient rights and confidentiality, and coordinate care with other departments. A minimal call requirement and 4x10-hour shifts support a predictable schedule.

Qualifications include an accredited RN program graduate, Missouri (or compact) RN licensure, and 2 years Telemetry/ICU experience; BLS certification is required within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program.
• RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure; must meet state board requirements.
• Minimum of 2 years of Telemetry and/or ICU experience.
• BLS certification through American Heart Association or completion within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains professional accountability for the care of assigned patients.
• Evaluates overall effectiveness of care provided by direct care givers.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments and maintains patient rights and confidentiality.
