Job summary

The Electrophysiology (EP) Lab Registered Nurse at Covenant HealthCare provides expert nursing care for EP, CRM and structural heart procedures. The role emphasizes patient safety, thorough documentation, and collaboration with physicians and the care team to ensure high-quality outcomes across adolescent, adult and geriatric populations.

Candidates should hold a Michigan RN license, nursing degree, and ACLS/BLS certifications, with preferred critical care or EP/Cath Lab experience.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree from an accredited school of nursing.
• RN license to practice in the State of Michigan is required.
• ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
• Prior critical care or EP/Cath Lab experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Models Covenant’s mission, vision and values in daily patient care.
• Provides clinical contact with adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.
• Assesses, plans, intervenes and evaluates nursing care for EP/CRM procedures.
• Responds to emergencies to promote optimal patient outcomes.
• Documents patient data to ensure continuity of care and reports to physicians.
• Mentors other nurses and participates in unit meetings and quality activities.
