Job summary

Catholic Health is seeking an EP Lab RN to provide comprehensive nursing care for electrophysiology procedures at Good Samaritan University Hospital Medical Center. You will perform pre-procedure assessments, monitor patients during procedures, and assist the team with sterile technique and post-procedure care.

The role requires a NY RN license, BLS and ACLS, with at least 2 years in critical nursing and preference for EP experience. A BSN is preferred; ADN acceptable if enrolled in BSN program.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of critical nursing experience; EP or procedural nursing preferred.
• BSN preferred; ADN acceptable if enrolled in BSN program.
• NY RN license and American Heart Association BLS/ACLS required.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care for electrophysiology procedures and EP studies.
• Perform pre-procedure assessments and review history, meds, labs and studies.
• Educate patients and families about procedures, activity restrictions and discharge.
• Monitor patients for rhythm changes, vitals, and neurologic status during procedures.
• Administer medications, including moderate sedation, per orders and protocols.
• Assist with sterile technique, equipment prep and patient positioning.
