Job summary

Liberty Hospital seeks a Registered Nurse for the Cardiac EP Lab to provide evidence-based care, monitor electrical and hemodynamic parameters, and support electrophysiology procedures with moderate sedation when needed.

Responsibilities include administering meds, collecting samples, and ensuring proper preparation of the EP lab and patient for procedures. Licensure in KS/MO and BLS/ACLS required; ADN with BSN within five years is expected.

Qualifications

• High School graduate.
• ADN in Nursing Perioperative & Procedures; must complete BSN within five years of employment.

Responsibilities

• Administers medications intravenously and orally.
• Assists in arterial/venous blood sampling and respiratory gas collection.
• Monitors vital signs during electrophysiology studies and provides support as needed.
• Circulates during procedures and assists the electrophysiologist.
• Prepares patient and equipment for EP procedures and ensures sterile setup.
