Job summary

Parkridge Medical Center in Chattanooga, part of Parkridge Health System, is hiring an EP Lab Nurse to provide direct patient care in a fast-paced cardiac setting. The RN will perform in-charge duties, coordinate care with the team, and support advanced cardiac procedures, with emphasis on safety and documentation in MediTech and Camtronics.

Candidates must have an Associate Degree, current RN license, and at least 1 year of critical care experience; ACLS/BLS within 30 days; cath lab or EP lab

Qualifications

• RN with an Associate Degree and active license.
• At least 1 year of critical care experience (ICU or ER) REQUIRED.
• Cath lab or EP Lab RN experience highly preferred.
• ACLS and BLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate all nursing care.
• React to emergencies as they occur.
• Administer medications and IV conscious sedation under physician's direction.
• Scrub and assist physician during diagnostic and interventional cardiac and peripheral angiographic studies.
• Provide accurate and timely nursing documentation in MediTech and Camtronics.
• Record, monitor, and understand hemodynamic measurements and valve areas.
