Intermountain Health is seeking a CV Invasive Specialist I at Saint Joseph Hospital in Denver to support cardiac catheterization procedures with clinical expertise and teamwork.

The role requires RCIS/RCES credentials to pass medications, strong patient care, equipment operation, and documentation. This full-time position offers a competitive hourly rate and a potential $20,000 sign-on bonus where applicable.

Formación

• BLS for healthcare providers.
• PALS or ACLS certification required within 3 months of start.
• Bachelor's degree in health science with healthcare experience or related education.
• Graduate programs in Radiologic/Cardiovascular/Respiratory/Nursing.
• Diploma/associate in health science + 1 year experience.
• Invasive cardiovascular tech program with 800 clinical hours.
• Intermediate computer skills.
• Current license where applicable.
• Surgical Tech/Assistant Certification per state.
• Rad Tech license per state requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Participate in procedure room preparation and post procedure turnaround.
• Develop knowledge of invasive, diagnostic, and interventional supplies and inventory control.
• Provide patient education and emotional support; foster teamwork with staff and physicians.
• Develop knowledge of cardiopulmonary physiology, pharmacology and treatment options.
• Assess patient condition and inform physician of deviations during procedures.
• Understand x-ray principles and operation of imaging equipment.
• May mix and administer medications under physician supervision (RCIS/RCES).
• Apply closure device, suture sheath, or achieve hemostasis post-procedure.
• Document procedures and events accurately.
• Operate, calibrate, troubleshoot equipment in Cath Lab; perform point-of-care testing.
