Job summary

Abbott’s Electrophysiology (EP) division advances heart disease treatment through breakthrough medical technologies. This role provides engineering, sales, educational and clinical support to physicians, health care professionals, patients, and field staff.

The position requires a biomedical engineering background, EP product certification, and at least two years in cardiac pacing. Strong communication and presentation skills, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office, are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Bio-Medical Engineering or related field.
• Requires ability to become certified on EP products.
• Minimum of two years experience in the cardiac pacing and related industries.
• Demonstrated knowledge of cardiology, electrophysiology, or cardiac electro-physiology procedures.
• Familiarity with cath lab and operating room procedures and protocol.
• Demonstrated advanced knowledge of cardiac pacing systems.
• Must communicate effectively and meet deadlines.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office to develop presentation materials.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering, sales, education and clinical support to physicians, health care professionals, patients, and field staff.
• Act as a clinical interface between the medical community and the business.
• Develops, leads and/or facilitates trainings on EP products for healthcare professionals.
• Provide insights to management on market feedback and product development for next generation products.
• Provide regional EP procedural case coverage and support to EP Sales Representatives.
