Job summary

Washington University in St. Louis seeks an independent RN Clinical Nurse Coordinator to support the Electrophysiology division across three clinic locations in Saint Louis, MO.

The role emphasizes patient advocacy, coordination of EP procedures, and device interrogations, with strong collaboration across clinicians and staff. Responsibilities include triaging care, advancing treatment plans, assisting with insurance navigation, and providing education and safety oversight.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with two years of nursing experience.
• Current RN licensure in Missouri and/or Illinois, per location, under the Compact Act.
• Basic Life Support certification required or obtained within one month of employment.
• Two years of nursing experience as a baseline requirement.
• Clinical communication and teamwork with interdisciplinary teams are essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Coordinate EP procedures and device interrogations (in-person and remote).
• Triages patient care needs and advances treatment plans.
• Assist with insurance navigation and patient education for safety and follow-up.
• Act as liaison among patients, families, and health team members.
