Washington University in St. Louis is seeking a Registered Nurse to become a Clinical Nurse Coordinator in the Pediatric Cardiology team. This role links patients and families to long-term care, coordinating tests, care plans, and transitions from hospital to home.

You will respond to patient messages, educate families, assist with medications, and coordinate multidisciplinary programs like Fontan and ARCH, while using Epic to streamline orders and care plans.

Qualifications

• Education: Nursing degree or diploma and active RN license in MO/IL per location.
• Current RN licensure in Missouri/Illinois following compact rules.
• Basic Life Support certifications required.
• Minimum 2 years nursing experience.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct patient care and nursing assessment for pediatric cardiology patients.
• Coordinate diagnostic tests and scheduling (MRI, CT, echocardiograms, stress tests).
• Serve as liaison among patients, families, and health team members.
• Support discharge planning, referrals, and prior authorizations.
• Document care, education, and care plans in the medical record.
