Job summary

Washington University in St. Louis seeks a dedicated Research Nurse Coordinator to lead complex cardiac trial coordination within the Structural Heart Team.

You will manage enrollment, consent, and follow-up, aligning trial procedures with standard care and ensuring regulatory compliance. The role involves collaboration with physicians, imaging, and cath lab teams, education of clinical staff, and close monitoring of safety events across multiple ongoing studies.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate Degree In Nursing Or Diploma In Registered Nursing.
• Certifications/Professional Licenses: Basic Life Support, Registered Nurse licensure as applicable by state.
• Work Experience: Research (2 Years), Nursing (2 Years).

Responsibilities

• Serve as the dedicated research coordinator embedded within the Structural Heart Team.
• Attend Heart Team/valve conference meetings to present candidates and communicate trial eligibility criteria.
• Coordinate visits, procedures, and follow-ups with the patient’s standard-of-care plan.
• Educate staff and clinical teams on study procedures and potential adverse events.
• Screen and enroll subjects, obtain informed consent, and maintain regulatory documentation.
• Monitor adverse events and report to PI and sponsors per protocol.
• Ensure data entry into sponsor EDC systems and preparation of required reports.
