Job summary

St Louis Heart & Vascular is seeking a Cardiac Device RN to collaborate with clinicians in treating patients with various cardiac conditions, including those requiring ambulatory monitors and CIED management such as pacemakers, ICDs, and loop recorders.

You will observe and document patient health histories, perform EKGs, assist with device interrogations, and educate patients on treatment plans. This role requires RN licensure and willingness to travel to local offices.

Qualifications

• RN with current licensure and clinical practice experience.
• Basic knowledge of cardiac rhythms and willingness to learn cardiac device management.
• Proficiency in using EMR systems and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Observe and record patient histories including cardiac and device history.
• Perform exams and diagnostics such as EKGs and monitor devices.
• Assist with device management including interrogation and remote monitoring.
• Review device transmissions and escalate abnormal findings.
• Educate patients and families on device care and remote monitoring.
• Administer medications and provide post-procedural care.
