Job summary

Hartford HealthCare Medical Group is seeking an Electrophysiology Advanced Practitioner Provider (APP) to join a progressive EP program across CT locations, including Hospital of Central Connecticut and MidState Medical Center. The APP will interpret ECGs, manage complex arrhythmias, and support peri-operative EP services.

Candidate should have PA/NP Master’s, CT licensure, and cardiology or EP device experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner Master’s program.
• Licensed, or eligible to be licensed, as a Physician Assistant / APRN in Connecticut.
• Certification as a Physician Assistant or APRN through AACN or ANCC.
• Cardiology experience preferred – Electrophysiology would be preferred.
• Cardiac device management experience highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interpret ECGs and diagnose cardiac rhythm disorders in ambulatory and inpatient settings.
• Provide pre-procedure risk stratification for EP procedures and collaborate with electrophysiologist.
• Prescribe diagnostic and therapeutic interventions and monitor medications.
• Perform routine CIED testing and reprogramming with minimal supervision.
• Coordinate EP peri-operative services and follow-up assessments.
• Interrogate and manage inpatient device interrogations and remote transmissions.
• Support inpatient EP consultations and EP perioperative workflows.
