Job summary

Hartford HealthCare Heart & Vascular Institute seeks an Electrophysiology Advanced Practitioner to diagnose, manage and treat complex arrhythmias in ambulatory and inpatient settings across CT. The APP will interpret ECGs, support EP procedures, and collaborate with electrophysiologists in perioperative care.

The role requires CT licensure eligibility, cardiology experience, and expertise with CIED management and device interrogations, including post‑op care and waveform analysis.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner Master’s program preferred.
• Licensed, or eligible to be licensed, as a Physician Assistant / APRN in Connecticut.
• Certification or eligible to be certified as a Physician Assistant or through AACN or ANCC.

Responsibilities

• Interpret ECGs, diagnose and treat complex cardiac arrhythmias.
• Provide pre-procedure risk stratification for EP procedures.
• Prescribe diagnostic and therapeutic interventions; monitor and adjust medications.
