Job summary

Hartford HealthCare Heart & Vascular Institute seeks an Electrophysiology Advanced Practitioner to diagnose, treat, and manage complex arrhythmias. The APP will perform outpatient ECG interpretation, pre‑procedure risk stratification, and perioperative EP support, collaborating with electrophysiologists in a multi-site system.

Responsibilities include device interrogation, medication management, and contributing to inpatient EP consultations across CT locations.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited PA/NP program; CT licensure or eligibility.
• Cardiology/Electrophysiology experience preferred.
• Board certification or eligible for certification as PA or APRN (AACN/ANCC).

Responsibilities

• Interpret ECGs and diagnose arrhythmias in ambulatory and inpatient settings.
• Perform pre‑procedure risk stratification for EP procedures and manage therapies.
• Monitor and adjust medications for complex arrhythmias and follow up with patients.
