Job summary

Hartford HealthCare Medical Group seeks an Electrophysiology Advanced Practitioner (APP) to join a progressive EP program in Connecticut. The APP will work in a hybrid capacity across ambulatory and hospital settings, interpreting ECGs, diagnosing arrhythmias, and supporting perioperative EP services.

The role requires a PA or NP with cardiology experience and cardio device management skills, licensed or eligible to practice in CT, with certification eligibility.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner Master’s program.
• Licensed, or eligible to be licensed, as a Physician Assistant / Advanced Practice Registered Nurse in Connecticut (CT).
• Certification or eligible to be certified as a Physician Assistant or APRN through AACN or ANCC.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage complex cardiac arrhythmias in ambulatory and inpatient settings.
• Perform routine (CIED) testing, reprogramming and device interrogation as capable.
• Provide pre- and post-procedure orders and perioperative EP support.
• Collaborate with Electrophysiologist and inpatient multi-disciplinary teams to optimize patient care.
